Birth Stories Night: The Hard Stories
Offering space for the birth experiences that didn’t go the way you wanted…
This Birth Stories Night we will be offering space for women who have experienced a traumatic birth. This encompasses any type of adverse or unexpected outcome to mom or baby that caused emotional trauma.
This will be led by Amanda Bartlett, RNC-MNN, CLC, who has worn many hats here at Anthus, such as postpartum support coach, class instructor, and postpartum support group leader. She is a nurse and a mom of three, with her own story of trauma during childbirth. She works with MoMMA’s Voices, an organization that focuses on improving maternal healthcare nationwide.
We know firsthand how healing it can be to share your story and hear other stories similar to your own, so we encourage you to join us. That being said, there is no pressure to share if you don’t want to.
All women are welcome to attend this night, but we do caution against attending if you think this will place fear in your heart for your upcoming birth experience. This is not our goal — please attend at your own discretion.
Free event with light snacks provided. Non-mobile babies are welcome to join.

Miscarriage Support Class
Whether your miscarriage was one day or one year ago, this group is perfect for you.
If you have been through a miscarriage, we believe that your baby was a very real life that was celebrated when you found out you were pregnant. It is right to be sad and to grieve when the hopes and dreams that you had for this baby are lost due to a miscarriage.
This group is designed to help you through that loss and pain. This is a Biblically-based group, so we are going to look at what the Bible says about grief and apply it to what you are going through. The reason this is designed in a group setting instead of one-on-one is we believe there is so much value in walking through pain with others.
This group is led by Mollie Euhus, who has her masters in Marriage and Family Counseling, has experience with grief counseling, and has personally experienced miscarriage. She has created a structured curriculum to help facilitate healing.
The class will be on Sundays from 2-3:30pm April 7-28, and is limited to 15 people. Registration closes after the first session begins on April 7.

Infant Loss Support Class
Join us for an in-person community class at Anthus where we come together to support and heal from the loss of a precious child.
Losing a child at any stage is a challenge. Loss is loss at any stage and matters. Here we share our stories about walking through infant loss from miscarriage to sudden loss. Grief is hard to process alone, so we take a group therapeutic approach lead by Amber Brooks LPC-A. This class offers a safe space for parents, family members, and friends to share their stories, find solace, and learn coping strategies. We walk through the stages of grief and how to cope with challenges in life that may feel like set-backs in grief. There is no timeline on healing, only a promise of the journey forward. Together we process our grief and take steps closer to healing.
Pre-registration is required. Class admission is $50 (only one ticket necessary per couple).
